About us | Environment
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) aims to promote environmentally-conscious and socially and economically responsible forestry. FSC labelling is awarded where materials consumption for printed matter contributes to well-managed, environmentally friendly forestry practices.
In 2000, Stibo became the world’s first FSC-certified heatset printing company.
PEFC, the Pan-European Forest Certification Project, is the forestry industry’s own certification system. It aims to promote environmentally, socially and economically responsible forestry. PEFC is a traceability certification that allows PEFC-certified printed matter to be traced throughout the processing chain, from the forest to the consumer.
Stibo was first PEFC-certified in 2010.

Our ISO 14001 system takes account of the external environment as well as the internal work environment of the company.
Stibo received ISO 14001 certification for the first time in 1997.
